Fall 2021 Election Details:

Nov. 13, 2021 – Open Primary/Orleans Municipal Parochial Primary/State Representative, District 16 and 102 Special Primary/State Senate, District 27 Special Primary Election (Rescheduled due to Hurricane Ida)

The following is important information for the Saturday, Nov. 13, 2021 Open Primary/Orleans Municipal Parochial Primary/State Representative, District 16 and 102 Special Primary/State Senate, District 27 Special Primary Election:

• Early voting is Oct. 30 through Nov. 6 (excluding Sunday, Oct. 31) from 8:30 a.m.-6 p.m.
• The deadline to request an absentee ballot is Nov. 9 by 4:30 p.m. You can request an absentee ballot online through our Voter Portal or in writing through your Registrar of Voters Office (other than military and overseas voters).
• The deadline for a registrar of voters to receive a voted absentee ballot is Nov. 12 by 4:30 p.m. (other than military and overseas voters).

Dec. 11, 2021 – Open General/Orleans Municipal Parochial General Election (Rescheduled due to Hurricane Ida)

The following is important information for the Saturday, Dec. 11, 2021 Open General/Orleans Municipal Parochial Special General Election:

• The deadline to register to vote in person or by mail is Nov. 10.
• The deadline to register to vote through the GeauxVote Online Registration System is Nov. 20.
• Early voting is Nov. 27 through Dec. 4 (excluding Sunday, Nov. 28) from 8:30 a.m.-6 p.m.
• The deadline to request an absentee ballot is Dec. 7 by 4:30 p.m. You can request an absentee ballot online through our Voter Portal or in writing through your Registrar of Voters Office (other than military and overseas voters).
• The deadline for a registrar of voters to receive a voted absentee ballot is Dec. 10 by 4:30 p.m. (other than military and overseas voters).
