This laughter therapy virtual meeting will be co-chaired (along with Ronda Kottle) and presented by Social Worker Susan (Sue) Dembrow Daube. It will provide useful tips on “how to find the funny and the fun in life.” Daube worked 14 years as the Family Life Education Coordinator at Jewish Family Service where she oversaw the Teen Life Counts Suicide Awareness Program as well as Outreach to Intermarried Families and Jews by Choice.  Her job’s duties included grant writing, communications, fundraising, and development of educational programs and therapy groups.

According to both Daube and Kottle, laughter is the best therapy during these stressful times.

“We’ve had to cope with the Corona Virus, social distancing, and wearing masks,” Daube said.  “It’s important for us to take advantage of an opportunity to lighten up a little and enjoy a long satisfying belly laugh.”
